    Overview:Peregrine Team is conducting a confidential retained executive search on behalf of a nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm with a strong and growing life sciences practice. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a respected industry professional who is well-connected in the North Carolina and broader Southeast life sciences market. The ideal candidate is a true seller-doer - someone who brings both the technical credibility to deliver complex projects and the business development instinct to grow a regional practice.Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and grow the firm's life sciences practice in the North Carolina and Southeast region
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships with biotech, pharmaceutical, and life sciences organizations
    • Drive business development through pursuits, proposals, and client engagement
    • Oversee delivery of cGMP life sciences facility projects across all project phases
    • Mentor and develop a regional team
    • Represent the firm within the local and national life sciences community including industry events and conferences
    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related life sciences field
    • Significant experience in life sciences facility design, engineering, or project delivery at a senior level
    • Strong existing network and market presence in North Carolina and the broader Southeast
    • Proven business development track record - client relationships, proposals, and revenue generation
    • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex capital projects
    • Background at an A/E, EPCM, or life sciences engineering consulting firm
    • Collaborative leadership style with strong communication and relationship-building skills
    • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Raleigh area
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with cGMP facilities, pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing, cleanrooms, or advanced therapy environments
    • Professional licensure in architecture or engineering
    • Active involvement in ISPE, BIO, or other life sciences industry organizations
    • Experience managing a regional office or P&L
