Regional Installation Manager
The Regional Installation Manager is responsible for the complete operational oversight of multiple branches. Regional IMs are expected to provide one on one training and supervision to the IM and the PC. This training should be both in person and virtually. Regional IM is to instruct the IM in the following:
Installation procedures and processes on a Regional Level
Contract Analysis - best practices for Installation
Confirmation of project with homeowner - work with Managers weekly on improving this step
Prep creation - feedback from payroll department on how we can improve on this step
Ordering of material – follow trends on the supply side to ensure their region is fully stocked with materials
Scheduling of jobs – work with Managers to show best practices for scheduling of projects
Recruitment and training of subcontracted crews – work on how to find, hire and retain sub-contractors
Quality control of installations – develop best install practices and train managers how to maintain strong workmanship quality through the region
Collection procedures
Escalated incidents get sent to the Regional level, and the regional has an attempt to resolve before demand letters are sent out
Approval of demand letters being sent to customers
Working with legal team to file liens if necessary
Collection of 42 day and 60 AB up to and including legal remedies
Service and Warranty fulfillment
Timely communication with homeowners regarding service issues and warranty items
Ensure services are kept under 45days
Escalated incidents on services get brought to the regional manager’s attention
Office development
Develop positive relationship with Sales department including education and review of sales information as it relates to installation and products Erie provides
Train Admin to assist the Install dept as necessary including processing of preps and completion paperwork
Training
Regional IMs should train the IMs/PCs in person approx. 50% with the remaining time spent training and following up virtually. The ideal site visit is to be done in 3-day increments.
Day 1- Observe IM
Day 2- Train on existing and new responsibilities and activities
Day 3- Review and reinforce training
