At Safety-Kleen (part of Clean Harbors), we’re looking for a Regional Hazardous Waste Tanker Specialist to run from E. Chicago, IN throughout the Midwest—averaging 60–65 hours per week with weekly home time.

Challenges You’ll Own

• Operate tractor–trailer tanker equipment with total commitment to safe work practices and policies
• Verify legal weights and optimize unit utilization
• Load/unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste, secure every load properly
• Placard vehicles in accordance with Company and DOT regulations
• Document everything: logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch/trip paperwork, and vehicle inspections

Must-Haves

• Class A CDL
• At least 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Minimum 3 months of tanker experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to climb and work at heights and to lift/carry 50+ lbs
• Comfort with mobile applications and basic computer software
