The Regional Field Tire Product Specialist II represents Tire Rack throughout an assigned territory, builds relationships with dealership partners, and provides the education and product knowledge customers need to grow their tire business.
This professional field position combines tire education, account development, and relationship management. You’ll have the independence to plan customer visits, manage your territory, and tailor educational events to each dealership’s needs.

Responsibilities
- Create and conduct educational events that help dealership teams sell tires successfully.
- Present tire-product and promotional information clearly, confidently, and persuasively.
- Review customer profiles and account activity to identify educational needs and growth opportunities.
- Work with the Field Tire Sales Manager to identify dealerships to visit and coordinate appointments with customer contacts.
- Plan efficient travel routes and manage individual and group educational visits throughout the assigned territory.
- Customize educational content using account data, customer feedback, and each dealership’s business needs.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and conduct promotional education visits with prospective customers.
- Prepare monthly reports covering customer education, account visits, and related activity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of tire-sales experience.
- Strong tire and automotive product knowledge.
- Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and exercise proactive judgment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to explain technical and promotional information clearly.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience required.
Training
Training takes approximately four to five consecutive weeks and includes:
- Up to two weeks of training at the Tire Rack HQ located in South Bend, IN, covering dealer programs, account research, AS400, and position-specific processes.
- Approximately two to three weeks shadowing an experienced Field Tire Product Specialist.
- Final in-field coaching and approval before beginning independent travel.
Hours and Travel
- Monday–Thursday: Regional field travel, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
- Friday: Office and administrative day, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
- Approximately 45 hours per week.
- Territory travel may extend up to approximately 250 miles, with overnight stays based on customer and territory needs.
- Additional flexibility may be required based on business needs.
Vehicle, Travel, and Technology Support
- $550 monthly vehicle allowance.
- Company credit card for approved business-travel expenses, including fuel used during business trips.
