We’re recruiting for an experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee and help grow a group of veterinary hospitals throughout the greater San Diego area. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the business and people side of veterinary medicine and wants a role with real autonomy and influence. You’ll partner closely with hospital leaders and doctors while also helping bring new, state-of-the-art veterinary practices to life in the San Diego market.

About the Position:

• Lead operations across multiple veterinary hospitals in the San Diego area
• Coach and support Practice Managers and hospital leadership teams
• Partner with doctors to build strong, healthy and successful practices
• Drive financial and operational performance
• Support recruiting, retention and team development
• Oversee HR, budgeting, inventory, compliance and facilities
• Help develop and launch new veterinary hospitals in the market
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and the overall employee and client experience
• Partner with senior leadership on continued growth throughout the region

About You:

We’re looking for a strong multi-site operator and people leader, ideally with experience in veterinary medicine or a similar healthcare/service environment. You should be comfortable balancing people, operations and financial performance while building strong relationships with doctors and hospital teams. 5+ years of leadership experience preferred. Multi-site veterinary experience is highly desirable.
