    The Regional Director of Nursing (DON) provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) across New Jersey. This role ensures consistent delivery of high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance with NJ Department of Health requirements, CMS standards, and organizational performance goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and support Directors of Nursing across multiple SNF facilities in New Jersey
    • Ensure compliance with NJDOH regulations, CMS guidelines, and facility policies
    • Conduct regular site visits, audits, and clinical performance evaluations
    • Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure strong clinical outcomes
    • Lead survey preparedness and support facilities during NJDOH/CMS surveys
    • Analyze clinical metrics (falls, pressure injuries, infections, hospitalizations)
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management for DONs and nursing teams
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of clinical leadership
    • Collaborate with administrators and interdisciplinary teams to improve resident care
    • Ensure adherence to infection control and risk management programs

    Qualifications:

    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey (or eligible for reciprocity)
    • BSN required; MSN preferred
    • Minimum 5–7 years of leadership experience in SNF/LTC settings
    • Prior multi-site or regional nursing leadership experience strongly preferred
    • Strong knowledge of NJDOH regulations and CMS survey process
    • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple facilities
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
    • Willingness to travel throughout New Jersey (and occasionally nearby regions)

    Preferred Skills:

    • Strong background in clinical quality improvement and regulatory compliance
    • Experience with long-term care EMR systems
    • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple facilities
    • Strong coaching and staff development skills
