The Impact You'll Make

As the Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement, you will serve as a strategic partner to facility and regional leaders, ensuring reimbursement accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across the region. This role requires strong leadership, advanced MDS expertise, and the ability to guide teams through complex reimbursement challenges.

This position is regionally based in the Richmond, VA area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead regional clinical reimbursement strategy to optimize revenue and ensure accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to MDS, Medicare, and billing
  • Oversee ARD scheduling, MDS completion timelines, and documentation integrity
  • Chair regional reimbursement and revenue-focused meetings
  • Provide education, mentorship, and guidance to MDS Coordinators and IDT members
  • Support interviews, onboarding, and ongoing education for MDS leadership
  • Serve as a subject matter expert during audits, denials, and operational transitions
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in VA.
  • Minimum of 3 years of MDS or reimbursement experience in a Skilled Nursing or LTC setting
  • Regional experience strongly preferred
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Seattle, WA area
  • Strong working knowledge of MDS, PDPM, Medicare, and reimbursement regulations
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across facility, regional, and corporate teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
