Regional Director Equipment Finance

Location: Texas

ABOUT THE ROLE

A growing commercial finance platform is seeking an experienced originator to drive new business development within an assigned territory. This role focuses on delivering equipment finance and leasing solutions to middle-market and large commercial companies across a variety of industries.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven ability to source, structure, and close transactions while building long-term relationships with business owners, financial executives, and referral partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Originate and close new equipment finance and leasing opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with middle-market companies, referral sources, and industry professionals.
  • Structure customized financing solutions to meet client needs.
  • Manage opportunities from initial prospecting through funding.
  • Partner with credit, underwriting, operations, and portfolio teams to execute transactions.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and consistent business development strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit, risk, and regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of experience in equipment finance, leasing, commercial banking, asset-based lending, private credit, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of business development and transaction origination.
  • Strong understanding of commercial credit, equipment finance structures, and secured lending.
  • Experience working with middle-market companies and capital-intensive industries.
  • Established network of business contacts, referral sources, or industry relationships preferred.
  • Strong communication, financial analysis, and relationship-management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary of $150, 000 $185, 000.
  • Uncapped commission plan with significant upside potential.
