The Team You’ll Join  

The Regional Director is a senior member of the Advisor Sales distribution team, responsible for building, leading, and expanding relationships with financial advisors. 

 

How You’ll Contribute   

This role drives adoption and sales of Envestnet’s Managed Accounts platform and related solutions while serving as a consultative partner to advisors. As a generalist with deep technical and product expertise, the Regional Director works directly in the field, collaborating closely with Senior Account Executives to execute territory strategy, advanced strategic priorities, and deliver measurable growth.

  • Own and execute a comprehensive plan to accelerate Managed Account sales and adoption.
  • Manage a defined portfolio of high-potential advisors with accountability for overall growth and revenue.
  • Drive both new advisor acquisition and expansion of existing relationships.
  • Act as a generalist seller with strong product knowledge and ability to deliver practice-management guidance.
  • Partner closely with Senior Account Executives to implement advance strategic priorities and drive managed account adoption within advisor practices.
  • Partner with asset management distribution teams to expand outsourced solutions and guide advisors through practice transitions.
  • Collaborate with sales team members, marketing, and training to identify leads, develop materials, and follow up on events and campaigns.
  • Lead conversations on PMC investment solutions and Envestnet Managed Account capabilities, including Tax/Impact Overlay, direct indexing, and PMC strategist offerings.
  • Introduce value-added practice management programs, leveraging third-party providers, asset managers, and Envestnet-hosted events.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, documenting activities and progress in CRM.
  • Lead structured outreach, meetings, and events to advance opportunities and achieve annual objectives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies; provide insights to internal stakeholders to strengthen distribution strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally to validate, develop, and gain adoption of solutions that support advisor and enterprise growth.
  • Represent Envestnet at industry events, conferences, and client meetings; maintain detailed records of engagement activity.
  • Adapt focus areas and sales motions as business priorities evolve.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

 

What You’ll Need to Bring  

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, advisory platforms, or asset management sales.
  • Proven track record managing territories and consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Deep understanding of the advisory business model, portfolio construction, and financial planning process.
  • Strong leadership presence with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic and agile problem solver with the ability to create win-win outcomes.
  • Ability to travel 50–75% of the time.

Our Investment in You 

This role offers a base salary range of $98,000 to $140,000. The range listed represents a good-faith estimate of base salary compensation for this position and does not include incentive compensation, equity or benefits. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.  This role is eligible for an additional incentive component as part of the total rewards package.
