The Team You’ll Join  

You will join Envestnet’s Advisor Sales distribution team—a high-performing, growth-focused organization dedicated to helping financial advisors build stronger, more scalable practices. This team operates at the intersection of sales, investment solutions, and practice management, partnering closely with Senior Account Executives, asset management distribution teams, and cross-functional partners across marketing, training, and product. Together, they drive adoption of Envestnet’s Managed Accounts platform and advanced investment solutions, including direct indexing and overlay strategies, while delivering consultative guidance to advisors. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, market insight, and disciplined execution, the team is committed to expanding advisor relationships, accelerating growth, and shaping the future of wealth management through innovative, client-centric solutions.

 

How You’ll Contribute   

Responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring, retaining and expanding relationships with financial advisors and advisory firms. Focuses on understanding client needs and positioning company technology, managed account solutions and investment offerings to support client business objectives. Actively prospects develops pipelines and closes new business while expanding existing client relationships. Collaborate with product, marketing and service teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure a high-quality client experience.

• Manages large, high-value advisor relationships and complex sales opportunities. 
• Owns and executes on a national or highly complex book of business with significant revenue responsibility. 
• Serves as a trusted advisor for C-level and executive stakeholders within client organizations. 
• Leads highly complex conversion opportunities including multi-product or program engagements. 
• Helps shapes sales strategy through market insight, competitive intelligence and client feedback. 
• Influences internal stakeholders on product direction, pricing strategy and client solutions. 
• Consistently meets or exceeds sales goals and drives long-term growth initiatives. 
• Leads and directs regional team strategy around sales pipeline development and management. 
• Own and execute a comprehensive strategy to accelerate Managed Account sales, adoption, and utilization across advisor practices. 
• Partner closely with Senior Account Executives to advance strategic priorities and drive increased adoption of managed account solutions within target advisor firms. 
• Lead conversations around Envestnet PMC investment solutions and managed account capabilities, including direct indexing, Tax and Impact Overlay solutions, and strategist offerings. 
• Introduce and promote value-added practice management programs through collaboration with asset managers, third-party providers, and Envestnet-sponsored events. 
• Collaborate with marketing, training, and distribution partners to identify sales opportunities, support advisor engagement campaigns, and drive follow-up activity. 
• Maintain disciplined CRM management practices, documenting advisor engagement, pipeline activity, and progress toward business objectives. 
• Represent Envestnet at industry conferences, advisor events, and client meetings to strengthen market presence and deepen advisor relationships. 
• Partner cross-functionally to develop and support solutions that drive advisor growth, enterprise objectives, and broader managed account adoption. 

What You’ll Need to Bring  

•    Candidates should demonstrate the relevant experience, skills, and capabilities needed to successfully perform in the role. Relevant experience may be gained through current responsibilities, prior roles, project work, leadership opportunities, or other comparable experiences.
•    Proven track record managing territories and consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.

•    Deep understanding of the advisory business model, portfolio construction, and financial planning process.

•    Strong leadership presence with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

•    Strategic and agile problem solver with the ability to create win-win outcomes.

•    Ability to travel 50–75% of the time.

Our Investment in You 

This role offers a base salary range of $114,500 to $143,100. The range listed represents a good-faith estimate of base salary compensation for this position and does not include incentive compensation, equity or benefits. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.  This role is eligible for an additional incentive component as part of the total rewards package.
