JOB SUMMARY:
This role supports compliance, quality, and culture needs by honoring AccentCare’s mission. The RCSS-SWer travels to designated sites as assigned social work clinical support and/or interim director of patient experience for the provision of social work services, clinical operations support of counseling professionals (social work, spiritual care, music therapy, child life), implementation and reinforcement of policies and procedures, and leadership coaching. This role provides direction to staff to ensure coordinated implementation of plans of care and the utilization of necessary services for comprehensive care of the patients that reflects the philosophy and objectives of both Palliative Care and Hospice. The role contributes to the AccentCare mission by coordinating and supporting the delivery of developmentally-appropriate psychosocial, spiritual, and psychoeducational care elements. This role is a member of the regional team(s) and acts as a subject matter expert for managing patient/client-facing care, including meeting support with patient experience disciplines designed to evaluate and achieve individualized site goals, and improve access to care and staffing pipelines as necessitated. Supervisory duties may include interns, social work fellows, and/or supervision for social workers towards clinical licensure. In conjunction with agency practices, , follows the standards of conduct and code of ethics set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)
