Client is hiring Class A CDL drivers based in Hartford, CT, to haul palletized bottled product on a dedicated account for a large beverage retailer. Drivers pull dry van trailers, and all deliveries are no touch. Weekly home time is standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer (dry van) on regional routes

• Haul palletized bottled product for a large beverage retailer

• Complete no-touch deliveries

• Maintain and operate an assigned, late-model sleeper cab

• Complete reports and records accurately

• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures

Compensation

• Average $95,000 to $100,000 per year, paid weekly at about $1,850 per week

• Activity-based pay:

  • $0.75 per mile

  • $32 per stop

  • $50 per layover

• Drivers average 1,900 miles and 5 to 6 stops per week

Schedule

• Home weekly

• Typically departs Sunday or Monday and returns Friday

Equipment

• Assigned, late-model sleeper cab

• Dry van trailers hauling finished product

Minimum Requirements

• At least 22 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)

• No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the past three years

• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years

• A profile created in the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse at clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov before hire
