You won't just be sitting behind the wheel-you'll be actively securing, transporting, and delivering specialty building materials to customers across the Lancaster, PA region and surrounding areas. This role combines professional driving skills with customer service and physical labor. What You'll DoDriving & Delivery Duties:Secure materials: Physically handle and carefully secure building materials (laminates, plywood, solid surfaces) onto the truck, ensuring safe transportSafe transportation: Drive commercial vehicles to deliver materials from our warehouse to customer locations across the Lancaster, PA region and surrounding areasCustomer delivery & unloading: Work directly with customers at delivery sites, assisting with unloading and ensuring materials arrive in perfect conditionVehicle inspections & maintenance: Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, verify cargo is properly secured, and maintain accurate logs of vehicle repair status and working hoursSafety & compliance: Follow all safety procedures for cargo transport, adhere to traffic laws, and maintain compliance with DOT regulationsRoute management: Plan daily routes efficiently using GPS navigation and mapping tools; adapt to traffic and delivery conditions in real timeWhat We're Looking ForLicensing & Credentials:High School Diploma or equivalentValid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with clean driving record and clean MVR; must pass DOT physical and drug screeningSkilled at driving, backing, and parking large commercial vehicles in tight and congested spacesExperience & Skills:Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferredExperience with route planning, GPS navigation, and map readingReliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learnStrong communication and customer service skillsSelf-starter who works well independently and as part of a teamHigh level of composure and ability to handle stressful situations calmlyPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and remain physically active throughout extended shiftsPhysical stamina for loading, securing, and unloading materials multiple times per dayAble to work in varying weather conditions while remaining alert and focusedMental focus and endurance during long driving shifts combined with manual laborReady to Join Our Family?
