Ingredients Plus is hiring Regional CDL A Drivers based in Landisville, Pennsylvania. This position offers regional driving without the extended time away from home commonly associated with traditional over-the-road positions. Regional drivers typically work the same consecutive five-day schedule each week, spending two to five nights in the sleeper while performing a mix of local and regional deliveries. Exact finish times may vary based on assigned routes and business needs. Our drivers deliver food-grade ingredients using liquid tank trailers, bulk pneumatic trailers, and van trailers. Pay and schedule

• Current drivers average approximately $2,100 per week

• Predictable weekly home time

• Regular consecutive five-day work week, with two to five nights in the sleeper per week

• $0.68 per mile plus additional component pay opportunities including:

• Liquid unloading

• Bulk unloading

• Detention

• DVIR inspections

• Drop-and-hook assignments

• Quarterly performance bonus opportunities

• Tenure bonuses that increase with time

• Weekend and layover incentives when applicable

• Weekly direct deposit

• This position requires the flexibility to work various days and times, including holidays and weekends as needed. Additional shifts may be mandated based on business needs.

Average earnings include mileage pay and eligible component pay and are not a guaranteed weekly minimum. Actual earnings vary based on assigned routes, mileage, activity pay, available work, and time worked.

Essential responsibilities

• Complete safe and on-time local and regional deliveries
• Provide professional and courteous service at customer locations
• Operate liquid tanker, bulk pneumatic, and van trailers
• Assist with loading, unloading, and trailer wash requirements
• Follow dispatch instructions and customer delivery requirements
• Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and required DVIR inspections
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and hours-of-service records
• Report equipment defects, accidents, injuries, and traffic violations promptly
• Maintain a clean tractor in good operating condition
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, traffic, and company safety requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, service, and efficiency

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old
• Valid Class A CDL
• At least one year of CDL A commercial driving experience
• Qualified to operate as an interstate driver under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Acceptable motor vehicle and safety record
• No more than one moving violation during the preceding three years
• No major preventable accidents
• Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and post-offer background check
• Able to lift 50 pounds routinely
• Able to bend, stretch, twist, climb, push, pull, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willing to work flexible days and hours based on customer and business needs
