Regional CDL A Driver - Home Weekly - No Touch

Regional driver opportunity running a pre-loaded route out of Charlotte, NC. This is a high value, no touch freight account with home weekly time and dedicated fleet manager support.

The Pay:

• $0.68 per mile to start
• Average weekly gross of $1,500 to $1,650
• 2,200 to 2,400 miles per week
• Metro load pay: $132.50 per load on loads 0 to 150 miles, $201.50 per load on loads 151 to 310 miles, plus $25 per stop on both (excluding origin and final)
• $25 per stop drop and stop pay, excluding origin and final destination
• $30 per hour detention after the first 2 hours
• Vacation and holiday pay per company policy

The Schedule:

• Home weekly, 2 to 3 nights out, Saturday work required
• 100% no touch freight
• All loads pre-loaded at origin, dispatched through Samsara or phone
• Daily check-in required via Samsara or call in
• Night driving required
• Trucks stay parked at the distribution center, not taken home
• Cannot go home with a load
• Drivers may also run other regional areas and pick up backhauls

The Route:

• Operating area covers North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, and Tennessee

Time Off:

• First come, first served basis, two weeks notice required
• Peak season runs October through January, no time off during this window except emergencies
• No deliveries on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day

Requirements:

• At least 22 years of age
• Active CDL A with 1 year of tractor trailer experience in the past 5 years, or 6 months in the past 24 months
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean abstract: max 4 moving violations in 3 years (max 2 in the past year), max 3 chargeable accidents in 3 years (max 2 in the past 12 months)
• No DUI/alcohol related conviction in the past 10 years
• No felony theft conviction in the past 10 years
• Stable work history and good references required
