About the Position
Our client is seeking experienced Regional CDL A Drivers for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity based in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Drivers will operate a sleeper unit with a 53-foot refrigerated trailer on multi-stop food product routes across multiple states.
This on-site driving opportunity offers support from a dedicated TransForce team and primarily involves no-touch freight.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $35 per hour
- Overtime available after 40 hours
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Days may vary
- Start times typically range from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Most routes include 2 to 3 nights away from home, with longer layovers possible based on distance and backhaul availability
- Regional routes based in Harrisonburg, Virginia

Key Responsibilities
- Operate a sleeper unit with a 53-foot refrigerated trailer on regional routes
- Pick up and deliver food products from warehouses and distribution centers
- Complete multiple stops safely and efficiently across assigned routes
- Maintain compliance with all applicable transportation regulations and safety standards
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Experience operating Class A equipment with 53-foot refrigerated trailers
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
