Regional Business Office Manager

Reports To: Director of Accounts Receivable

FLSA Status: Exempt

As Regional Business Office Manager, your main task is to assist various facilities within their assigned geographic location in billing Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care insurance, private, and other payer types.

We are looking for a professional candidate who has a desire to learn and grow with the company. Travel is required to all facilities in the assigned area. This is not a remote or work from home position.

Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for billing, follow up, and appealing various claims to ensure payment is received.
  • The candidate will also temporarily fill-in as a facility office manager during medical leave, etc.
  • Must be willing to work at various facilities on a rotating basis as necessary.
  • The candidate must be results-focused and detail-oriented.
  • Must work well with residents and families as well as co-workers.
  • Must be able to meet billing deadlines and follow a calendar to ensure that other deadlines are met.

Education:

High school diploma required. College degree preferred with emphasis in accounting or business-related.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally three (3) years of BOM experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), with a specific focus on collections and outstanding receivables
  • Must have prior experience with Public Aide/Medicaid and Medicare billing and collections.
  • You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
  • Prior supervisor experience in a business office setting is preferred.
  • Point Click Care (PCC) billing system experience is preferred.
  • The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be able to problem solve.
