In this role, you'll help teams navigate the complexities of Medicaid, Medicare, insurance, resident accounts, accounts receivable, trust accounts, billing, appeals, audits, and reimbursement.You won't just manage numbers-you'll support people, solve challenges, strengthen processes, and help facilities succeed.What You'll DoProvide regional leadership, oversight, and hands-on support to business office teams across assigned facilities.Coach, train, and mentor Business Office Managers and staff.Promote consistent processes, best practices, and financial accountability throughout the region.Review accounts receivable and aging reports and help develop effective collection strategies.Provide guidance on Medicaid applications and renewals, Medicare, insurance verification, authorizations, and levels of care.Support resident accounts, trust accounts, deposits, statements, adjustments, refunds, and account questions.Help resolve billing, reimbursement, payer issues, and account discrepancies.Support facilities with appeals and audits, ensuring accurate documentation and timely responses.Monitor compliance with regulatory, payer, and company requirements.Keep facility teams informed of regulatory, payer, and process changes.Identify trends, solve problems, and recommend opportunities for process improvement.Collaborate with administrators, clinical teams, medical records, finance, and other departments.Step in with hands-on assistance or temporary coverage when facility business office needs arise.Protect the confidentiality of resident financial and personal information.Perform additional duties as assigned.
