General Description:The Regional Business Development Director will develop and maintain a sales territory for Supplemental Health Care (SHC) to increase top line revenue and bottom-line results focusing primarily on Hospitals and Acute Care facilities while promoting the core values of caring, expertise and service.
Essential Job Functions:
Co-develop and execute a territory sales plan to grow revenue aligned with the overall company financial and strategic goalsProvide client solutions by selling all lines of business including local contract, travel, contract-to hire, MSP, and all other SHC business offerings in the nursing and allied market segments.Collaborate with divisions across all of SHC's divisions including Acute, Non-Acute, Workforce Solutions, Contracting, Marketing and the Credit DepartmentEnsure contracted bill rates enable SHC to meet financial goals, including re-negotiating bill rates/terms upon existing contract renewals and/or as the market changes requireProspect and qualify new sales leads and opportunities within your territoryMaintain a well-developed sales pipeline of qualified prospectsMeet and/or exceed annual quotasTrack all sales activities in the HubSpot CRM and keep current by updating regularlyPerform Partnership Performance Reviews with strategic clientsDrive MSP conversations to meet regional MSP goalsServe as the escalation point for any billing issuesLead RFPs for prospective strategic clientsPerform sales activities which include cold calling, phone sales, emailing campaigns, the use of social media, RFPs, corporate sponsored events, trade shows, and client lunches dinners as well as special engagementsMake presentations to appropriate associations/organizations to increase awareness of SHC capabilitiesAddress client concerns and problems effectively and with a sense of urgencyDevelop/expand existing clients needs and make formal presentations to potential clientsCommunicate with clients as well as field and office talent in a professional manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapportMaintain a problem-solving attitude under stressful circumstancesFunction in the capacity of the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for any and all process related queries with regards to Business Development activitiesProvide support to the internal sales team in your region during the acquisition and development of targeted client or prospectEnsure contract compliance and distribution
Help to create an environment of high morale, motivation and teamwork

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Talents:
Minimum 8+ years outside business to business sales experience requiredBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline preferredHealthcare staffing or healthcare MSP experience preferredDemonstrated excellent negotiating skillsDemonstrated experience in selling strategic sales solutionsBasic knowledge of business and management principles involved in recruiting, staffing, production
methods, human resources, and/or similar or relevant work experience
Communicate effectively in writing and orallyKnowledge of principles and methods for selling recruiting services; this includes marketing strategy
and tactics, sales techniques, and sales management systems
Ability to work independently and with other team membersAbility to organize and complete work in a timely mannerAbility to multi-task
Must be willing to travel via car or airplane to cover territory if necessary; travel could be up to 60% within assigned territory, with occasional travel outside assigned territory
Must have a working knowledge of computers and software systems including Microsoft Office and sales CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce)Retain flexible schedules in order to service clients request and/or handle complaintsMust be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and computerMust successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as
