Description
Refurb Technician
LOCATION: Carrollton, TX | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $18.00 per hour
• 1st shift: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM; overtime may require 5:00 AM starts and Saturdays
• Start date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT: Support the refurbishment, maintenance, and repair of specialized equipment in a climate-controlled warehouse environment. Success means accurately identifying issues, completing quality repairs, and ensuring equipment meets functional standards before release.
KEY DUTIES
• Refurbish, maintain, and repair mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues and component failures.
• Perform routine maintenance, testing, and quality checks to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and completed work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in mechanical/electronic repair, refurbishment, maintenance, or a similar hands-on technical role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with hands-on mechanical and technical aptitude.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Specialized mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Components, parts, and tools used for equipment repair and refurbishment.
• Climate-controlled warehouse environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized in a production-focused environment.
