Position Summary

Credence is seeking a Refugee Programs M&E Specialist to support program monitoring, evaluation, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for assessing program effectiveness, developing performance indicators, supporting monitoring activities, conducting program reviews, and providing analytical insights to enhance program outcomes.

The successful candidate will collaborate with leadership, program staff, stakeholders, and service providers to evaluate program performance, identify trends, assess compliance, and support data-driven decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate findings into meaningful recommendations that support organizational objectives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

• Support monitoring and evaluation activities designed to assess program effectiveness, compliance, and performance outcomes.
• Develop, refine, and maintain performance indicators, monitoring tools, and evaluation methodologies.
• Conduct on-site and remote program reviews to assess performance, effectiveness, and compliance.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative program data.
• Identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities for program improvement and operational effectiveness.
• Prepare monitoring reports, evaluation summaries, findings, and recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance monitoring activities.
• Collaborate with program staff and stakeholders to implement corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of dashboards, performance metrics, and reporting tools.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance on monitoring, evaluation, and performance measurement practices.
• Ensure documentation and supporting materials are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with established requirements.
• Support evidence-based decision-making through research, analysis, and program evaluation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Work, Program Evaluation, Public Health, Data Analytics, Statistics, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant professional experience supporting monitoring, evaluation, program compliance, performance management, program analysis, research, or related functions.
• Experience supporting monitoring and evaluation activities for complex programs or initiatives.
• Experience developing and applying performance indicators, monitoring tools, and evaluation methodologies.
• Experience conducting program reviews, assessments, site visits, or monitoring activities.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to assess program performance and effectiveness.
• Ability to identify trends, risks, findings, and opportunities for process and program improvement.
• Experience preparing reports, evaluations, analyses, and recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
