Description
Client company is hiring an experienced senior commercial refrigeration technician with strong, hands-on supermarket refrigeration experience. This position is for a technician who can independently diagnose rack-system problems, perform major repairs, and take responsibility for getting systems operating correctly. Salary depends on experience. Flexible 40-hour workweek with overtime potential. Company offers company truck, tools, PTO, stable full-time work, and support from an established commercial refrigeration company.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair supermarket refrigeration rack systems and connected cases, coolers, and
freezers.
Perform compressor replacements, system evacuation and charging, leak detection and repair, and
major component replacement.
Troubleshoot expansion valves, solenoids, defrost systems, evaporator and condenser fan motors,
pressure controls, sensors, and refrigeration controls.
Identify the actual cause of failures and complete reliable repairs instead of temporary fixes.
Lead service calls independently and determine the correct repairs and parts needed to restore
operation.
