Location: San Leandro, CA- Various Bay Area locations

Reports To: Operations Manager / Service Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Repair Technician to join our service team. This individual will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, ice machines, deli cases, and merchandisers. The ideal candidate will also have experience leading small teams and will be a strong cultural fit, collaborative, dependable, and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Troubleshoot, repair, and install commercial refrigeration systems

·       Service refrigeration components for walk-in coolers, freezers, large scale refrigeration equipment, deli coolers, ice machines, and merchandisers

·       Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed

·       Help manage small crews on job sites, ensuring quality and safety standards

·       Accurately document service work and communicate with dispatch and customers

·       Maintain inventory and proper care of tools and company equipment

·       Represent the company professionally with clients and internal teams

Requirements

Qualifications:

·       3–5+ years of hands-on refrigeration service and repair experience

·       Universal EPA Certification required

·       Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

·       Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

·       Mentor and train junior technicians

·       Excellent communication and customer service skills

·       Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented

Preferred Experience:

·       Familiarity with servicing fuel stations or convenience store refrigeration systems
