Refrigeration/Diesel Technician
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair transport refrigeration units, trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
Repair electrical, starting, charging, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
Complete repairs such as leak detection, compressor replacement, refrigerant line soldering, and component replacement.
Inspect equipment, identify faulty parts, and use diagnostic tools as needed.
Maintain accurate repair documentation.
Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Work effectively with team members and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
1+ years of transport refrigeration, diesel, or related mechanical experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED required; vocational or trade school training preferred.
ASE certifications are a plus.
Ability to read and write in English.
Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.
Must pass pre-employment testing, background check, and drug screening.
Must own required tools and steel-toed work boots.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in heat, cold, and confined spaces.
Ability to climb ladders and access trailer roofs and interiors.
