WORK FOR US! PrimaryOne Health is currently seeking a Referral Specialist for our Columbus health center.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Serves as the point of contact for patients to make requests for scheduling of follow-up appointments within PrimaryOne Health centers, as well as external affiliates.
• Identifies and utilizes cultural and community resources. Establishes and maintains relationships with identified service providers.
• Stays current on insurance company policies and procedures, and any changes as applicable to prior authorization and/or organizations that are considered in-network and are accepting referrals.
• Serves as an available point of contact for any difficult/hard-to-place referrals.
• Utilizes internal software and telephone system to enter or retrieve data related to the referral/scheduling of appointments.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned.

Successful candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred. Experience in referrals, insurance providers, and in a direct provider support role.
