    Description

    Location: Onsite

    Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

    Hours: Shifts scheduled between 12:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

    Weekend Rotation: Every third weekend

    Holiday Rotation: 1-2 holidays per year

    What You'll Do

    • Answer incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and exceptional customer service.
    • Gather, verify, and accurately document patient and referral information.
    • Explain hospice services clearly and answer questions from patients, families, healthcare providers, and community partners.
    • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation of all interactions.
    • Work collaboratively with team members and provide support to other departments as needed.
    • Participate in quality-improvement initiatives designed to enhance the patient and family experience.
    • Assist with onboarding and training new team members when assigned.

    What We're Looking For

    Required:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Strong computer and data-entry skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
    • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
    • Proof of required automobile insurance.
    • Ability to travel in varying weather conditions when necessary.
    • Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and 10-panel drug screening.

    Preferred:

    • At least two years of customer-service experience.
