    Mountain Community Health Partnership is seeking a full-time Referral Clerk/Patient Services Representative to support patient care and front office operations. As a key member of our team, you will help patients navigate referrals and specialty appointments while also providing exceptional front desk support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Referral Clerk:

    • Process referrals to specialists, imaging centers, and other healthcare providers.
    • Obtain insurance prior authorizations for referred services and proceudres.
    • Schedule referral appointments and communicate details to patients.
    • Track referral outcomes and ensure follow-up documentation is received.
    • Coordinate with providers and clinical staff regarding referral needs.
    • Process medical records requests in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

    As a Patient Services Representative:

    • Assist patients in person and over the phone.
    • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
    • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
    • Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
    • Collaborate with clinical, care management, and billing teams.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience: Experience in a medial office, clinic, or healthcare setting. Experience with EHR systems and insurance verification processes. Knowledge of referrals, prior authorizations, or medical record procedures. Knowledge of medical terminology.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, detail-oriented, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and critical thinking skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
