Under general supervision performs work of moderate difficulty coordinating public programs; performs related work as assigned.
Pathways to Community is a collaborative partnership between the Coconino County Sheriff's Office and Coconino County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) that provides reentry support for individuals leaving the Coconino County Jail. Individuals released from custody receive immediate connection to social, behavioral, housing, transportation, and legal services to support their successful transition back into the community.
The Reentry Coordinator is responsible for coordinating comprehensive case management and reentry navigation services for individuals who are currently incarcerated or recently released. This role works closely with on-site partners, community service providers, and clients' legal teams to ensure seamless support, resource connection, and continuity of care throughout the reentry process.

Typical Duties
Essential functions of this position include but not limited to driving; working with and around others; communicating with staff and the public; working alone; vision acuity (near and far); dealing with interruptions; hearing and speech for ordinary conversation. Environmental conditions include but not limited to working indoors and outdoors as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in public/business administration, or a related field within subject area, and two years of administrative experience; OR
Three years of administrative experience; OR
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must obtain an Arizona drivers license by date of hire and maintain it throughout employment.
Community Services Requirement: if this position is in Community Services, then a fingerprint clearance card is required.
The ideal candidate will have a connection to the justice involved clients that Pathways serves, and will be committed to ensuring successful re-entry for all individuals. This candidate is committed to professional growth and learning and will serve as an active member of the Re-Entry team. Individual is highly motivated, reliable, and will have meaningful lived experience that relates to the role. This individual will have experience respectfully working with vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing serious mental illness, homelessness, behavioral health challenges, and those who are engaged with the criminal justice system. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the challenges that individuals leaving incarceration face, and will be enthusiastic about maintaining a positive, welcoming environment at the Pathways site, helping clients navigate the services available.
This position is non-exempt from overtime.
