TITLE: Laborer

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Laborer Production contributes to the manufacturing environment by supporting daily operations, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering consistent, high-quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent.Prior forklift operating experience.Good verbal and written communication skills.Basic mechanical and math aptitudeAvailable to work any shift as neededAbility to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectivelyEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessaryCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be movedLoads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by handConveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areaSecures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destinationLift heavy objects by hand or with power hoistCleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operatorsOperates and maintains forklift trucks in a proper and safe manner including the daily maintenance inspection.Performs general plant labor including light plant cleaning and taking out trash to the dumpstersTrains to assist on machinery in production plantAdheres to all company safety and housekeeping procedures.Conforms to all Reef policies and proceduresPerform other duties as requested by management
