Redis Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Redis Administrator to manage, monitor, optimize, and support enterprise Redis environments across distributed production systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Redis cluster management, performance tuning, high availability architecture, monitoring, Linux administration, and cloud-native deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, administer, and support Redis standalone, clustered, and Sentinel environments.
• Manage Redis HA/DR strategies, failover configurations, replication, and backup/recovery operations.
• Monitor Redis infrastructure for latency, throughput, memory utilization, and performance bottlenecks.
• Tune Redis parameters related to persistence, eviction policies, caching, and memory optimization.
• Implement Redis security controls including TLS, ACLs, authentication, and encryption.
• Support Redis deployments in cloud platforms such as AWS ElastiCache, Azure Cache for Redis, and GCP Memorystore.
• Work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams for automation and CI/CD integration.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and provide L2/L3 operational support.
• Maintain monitoring dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, RedisInsight, or equivalent tools.
• Support Kubernetes-based Redis deployments using Helm charts or Operators.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Redis administration.
• Expertise in Redis Cluster, Replication, and Sentinel architectures.
• Strong Linux Administration skills (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL).
• Experience with Redis persistence models (RDB/AOF).
• Knowledge of memory optimization and eviction policies.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools.
• Experience in cloud-based Redis services.
• Scripting knowledge using Bash/Python/Shell.
