Recycling Facility DePack Forklift Operator

Depack Technician - Forklift Operator Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hour (DOE)Location: Mount Vernon, WA | On-site | Full-time Lautenbach Recycling is hiring a skilled and motivated Forklift Operator to join our depackaging team. This hands-on role is critical to moving materials safely and efficiently in a fast-paced recycling environment. If you enjoy being on a forklift, working with heavy equipment, and contributing to a team that keeps recycling moving, this could be the job for you! What You'll Do

Operate forklifts daily to transport, stage, and load/unload recyclable materials. Lead shift operations within the depackaging area, ensuring safety and workflow efficiency. Monitor production targets and report daily metrics. Support equipment maintenance, cleaning, and downtime reduction efforts. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times. Communicate and coordinate with operations, dispatch, and maintenance teams.

What We're Looking For

Forklift certification and/or proven forklift experience (preferred). 1-3 years in industrial, production, warehouse, or recycling operations. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in dusty, noisy, outdoor conditions. Strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Willingness to take initiative and support overall production goals.

Location We are located in Mount Vernon, just north of Highway 20 in the beautiful Skagit Valley. This is a fully operational Construction & Demolition recycling facility with frequent traffic, dust, and noise.
