Recycling and Waste Minimization Associate Manager

As the Recycling And Waste Minimization Associate Manager, you will help run

Best Buy's recycling and waste minimization programs across retail and supply chain

operations. You will turn financial and operational data into clear insights, improve vendor

performance and support compliant recycling practices. If you enjoy solving problems, working

across teams and using data to make programs more effective, this role offers broad visibility

and meaningful impact.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday

at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or

another non-Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more

details during the hiring process.

What you'll do

• Manage budgets, forecasts, payments and reconciliations for recycling and waste

programs.

• Maintain accurate program financials, metrics, vendor scorecards and compliance data.
• Analyze data to identify cost savings, revenue opportunities and operational improvements.
• Partner with operations, finance, procurement, legal and vendors on program needs and

contracts.

• Prepare recycling and waste data for regulatory, annual and public reporting.
• Support field teams by resolving issues and improving processes for compliant handling

and disposal.

Basic qualifications

• 2 years experience supporting operational, compliance, environmental, or regulatory programs
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
• Strong communication, organization and time management skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2 years of experience in retail, supply chain or transportation operations
• 2 years of experience in environmental compliance or a related field.
• 2 years Financial modeling and forecasting
