The Recruitment Specialist, Talent Intelligence & Sourcing, is responsible for proactively identifying, researching, and engaging prospective candidates to develop strong talent pipelines that support current and future hiring needs across UT MD Anderson. This position supports the Talent Acquisition Team by partnering closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to translate position requirements into targeted sourcing strategies, with particular focus on hard-to-fill, specialized, and leadership-level roles. The Recruitment Specialist leverages a variety of sourcing tools, technologies, and market research techniques to identify and attract qualified talent, including AI-enabled tools that enhance sourcing efficiency and support candidate identification efforts. This position requires a resourceful, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple concurrent searches across a large team and contribute to a structured, retained-search-style recruiting process that reflects MD Anderson's mission and standards of excellence.
KEY FUNCTIONS
EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Preferred: Master's Degree Human Resources or related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required: 7 years of professional recruitment, human resources, or project management experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis.
Preferred: Five years of experience sourcing candidates within healthcare, academic medicine, or life sciences environments, including executive, clinical, and technical searches. Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, and ATS/CRM platforms to build and engage talent pipelines.
