As the needs of our business evolve, we’re expanding our Corporate Human Resources team with the addition of a RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST, to play a key role in attracting, hiring, and onboarding exceptional talent across ARDEX Americas. You will be responsible for recruiting hourly and salaried positions across our multi-state and international (Canada and Latin America) Americas workforce.
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, based at our scenic corporate campus in Center Township (400 ARDEX Park Drive, Aliquippa, PA 15001, complete with woodland walking trails and free parking! Candidates must be commutable to this location. Flexible work options including some WFH available after a training period.
Candidates seeking a reduced full-time role (32 hours per week including full benefits!) will also be considered.
What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for hourly and salaried positions across ARDEX Americas, partnering with hiring managers to attract and hire top talent.
- Represent ARDEX at career fairs, technical schools, colleges, and community recruiting events, building talent pipelines and promoting ARDEX as an employer of choice.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies, leverage social media and professional networks, and support employer branding initiatives to attract qualified candidates.
- Screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, coordinate interview processes, and provide hiring managers with candidate recommendations and interview feedback.
- Prepare employment offers and maintain regular communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities including background checks, reference checks, employment verifications, and onboarding requirements in compliance with company and legal standards.
- Administer onboarding activities for new hires across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, including orientation schedules, employee orientations, and new hire support.
- Maintain recruitment, onboarding, and employee records within HRIS and applicant tracking systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support employee engagement, development, recognition programs, training events, and other People & Culture initiatives.

Required Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years of recruitment and interviewing experience is essential
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is highly advantageous
- Experience with HRIS is essential. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus
- Knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws, particularly regarding recruiting and hiring
- Proven high attention to detail and precision in maintaining accurate personnel records
- Proven organizational skills; able to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Confident and clear communicator (verbal and written). Excellent listening skills. Engaging presenter. Builds and maintains relationships easily.
- Positive, problem-solving, "can-do" mindset
- Strong team player: collaborates effectively with a diverse team across different locations
- Proficient in MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred, or minimum completed High School Diploma with relevant work experience
- Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel - mostly locally
