Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator to lead hiring initiatives, support employee development, and strengthen workforce retention.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition- Manage applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for alignment with company values and job requirements.
- Partner with operational teams to identify staffing needs and prioritize recruiting efforts.
- Build relationships with community organizations, workforce development agencies, schools, and networking groups.
- Attend job fairs and recruiting events to attract qualified candidates.
- Track recruiting metrics such as applicant flow, response rates, time-to-hire, and retention trends.
Training & Development- Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Coordinate ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Support specialized training initiatives and continuing education programs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements to enhance employee success and engagement.
Employee Engagement & Retention- Develop and implement employee recognition programs and engagement initiatives.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through communication, appreciation events, newsletters, and team-building activities.
- Conduct regular employee check-ins and performance discussions.
- Support employee relations efforts and address concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor retention and engagement metrics and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
Compliance & Collaboration- Ensure compliance with employment laws, workplace policies, and safety standards, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with leadership, employees, clients, and community partners.
- Support a respectful, ethical, and inclusive workplace environment.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, talent acquisition, or employee engagement.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional local travel and recruiting events.
