AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to innovation. We are seeking an experienced Recruiting Manager to lead high-volume hiring efforts for our rapidly expanding data center operations.

As a Recruiting Manager within AIS, you will own end-to-end recruiting strategy and execution for data center roles across multiple locations. You will build and lead a team of recruiters who deliver exceptional candidate experiences while meeting hiring goals. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and can balance quality with velocity.

The ideal candidate combines deep recruiting expertise with strong leadership skills and a passion for building diverse, high-performing teams. You will partner closely with data center operations leaders, HR business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand workforce needs and deliver talent solutions that enable AWS to scale infrastructure globally.

Key job responsibilities

Own recruiting strategy for high-volume data center hiring across multiple job families including Data Center Technicians, Facility Engineers, Operations, and technical specialists

Develop and execute innovative strategies to reach hiring targets

Partner with managers to understand workforce planning and translate into actionable recruiting plans

Drive continuous improvement in recruiting processes, tools, and metrics increasing efficiency and candidate quality

Team Leadership & Development

Build, lead, and develop a team of recruiters

Set clear performance expectations and hold team accountable to hiring goals, quality metrics, and candidate experience

Coach recruiters on best practices, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision making

Foster a culture of innovation, customer obsession, and operational excellence

Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations

Stakeholder Management & Influence

Serve as trusted advisor to data center leaders on TA strategy and market insights

Build strong partnerships with HR, finance, and workforce planning

Present recruiting metrics, trends, and recommendations to leadership

Influence managers on best practices for interviewing, candidate assessment, and offers

Manage cross-functional initiatives related to employee experience and retention

Metrics & Reporting

Track and report on key metrics

Analyze recruiting data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement

Establish SLA"s with managers and consistently meet targets
