Recruiting Coordinator / Junior Recruiter

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an early-career professional who is genuinely interested in building a career in recruiting or Human Resources. This is not intended to be a purely administrative position. While the role will initially provide significant coordination and operational support to Recruiting, the goal is to develop the right person into a Junior Recruiter and eventually an independent Recruiter.

A recent college graduate with an interest in Recruiting, Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology or a related field could be an excellent fit. Prior recruiting experience is not required; we are more interested in finding someone who is bright, organized, personable, comfortable communicating with candidates, and eager to learn the recruiting process.

The right person will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take initiative without waiting to be told what to do, and be interested in understanding not just how to move candidates through a process, but how to identify and engage great talent.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
2. Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in Recruiting or Human Resources.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through.
5. Comfortable speaking with candidates by phone, email and in person.
6. Naturally curious and interested in learning about different jobs, departments and skill sets.
7. Good judgment and the ability to recognize when something requires escalation.
8. Comfortable learning new systems and technology; ATS experience is a plus but not required.
9. Previous internship, campus recruiting, customer service, sales, HR, administrative or other people-facing experience is helpful.
10. Desire to grow into candidate screening, sourcing and full-cycle recruiting responsibilities over time.
