Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to join a dynamic team in California. This role is a temp-to-hire position that requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for talent acquisition. Responsibilities
- Review candidate resumes for open positions.
- Engage with candidates, respond to inbound questions, and proactively contact candidates to check in, follow up, and answer questions.
- Assist with scheduling phone and onsite interviews and coordinate candidate travel.
- Answer phones and greet employees and candidates.
- Follow established talent acquisition processes and use of technologies to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure the proper compilation of offer letters and related materials.
- Provide guidance on the recruiting process to fill positions quickly with qualified and motivated candidates.
- Support corporate recruiters and hiring managers in building and enhancing recruiting strategies.
- Perform administrative duties as needed to support the recruiting team.
- Participate in recruiting events as needed.
- Work closely with other coordinators and administrative support throughout the organization to ensure timely and efficient scheduling of candidates and interviewers.
- Identify and assist in improving the recruiting process.
- Track recruiting and hiring process/metrics to ensure transparency and measurability.
- Work with external recruiting firms, job sites, social media, and career fairs to ensure cost-effective and optimal sourcing tools to find great candidates.
- Manage the Applicant Tracking System by tracking and updating candidates' profiles as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by HR Management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred in a job-related concentration (e.g., HR Management, Organizational Development, Business).
- 3+ years of experience as a Recruiting/Talent Acquisition coordinator or similar role.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience providing positive customer service experiences to external and/or internal stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess a high degree of integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness.
- Must be detail-oriented and understand the importance of recruiting.
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and ability to streamline processes whenever possible.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Proficiency in Google suite of applications.
- Experience managing calendars, meetings, tasks, deadlines, and multiple priorities.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and organizational information.
Preferred Skills
- Prior HR experience within the construction or contracting industries.
- Oracle HCM/ATS experience.
- LinkedIn recruiting experience.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
Salary
$22 - $29 per hour
Location
Fully Remote - Must live in the Pasadena area
