    Description

    MAU is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator in Newnan, GA. As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will engage applicants, recruit and screen candidates, coordinate interviews and orientations, and provide administrative support while partnering with Staffing Specialists and Managers to match qualified candidates with job opportunities. This is a direct-hire position.

    Shift Information

    • Full-time position
    • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Required Education and Experience

    • 1 - 3 years of professional work experience

    Essential Functions

    • Perform human resources functions related to recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees
    • Engage, recruit, screen, and interview candidates based on client requirements and open job orders
    • Conduct candidate screenings, schedule appointments, and respond to applicant inquiries regarding open positions
    • Provide orientation information and other required information to new employees
    • Process background checks, education verifications, and drug-related testing as required by the organization or position
    • Manage recruitment communications and provide accurate information regarding job vacancies
    • Coordinate orientation and training activities
    • Develop effective strategies to improve recruiting and scheduling logistics
    • Attend organizational meetings as required
    • Provide administrative support to employment and recruiting functions, including processing employee documentation and payroll
    • Maintain applicant flow through sourcing efforts on job boards and MAU's applicant tracking system
    • Assist with receptionist duties, including signing in candidates and helping applicants complete applications
    • Regularly review work orders and collaborate with Staffing Specialists and Managers to meet staffing goals
    • Schedule interviews, pre-screening assessments, client interviews, and orientations
    • Support the placement of qualified candidates into appropriate job opportunities

    Work Environment and Physical Demands

    • Work in a professional office environment
    • Routinely use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
    • Work confidently and professionally with applicants in a fast-paced recruiting environment
    • Role is largely sedentary with periods of standing and walking

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours
    • Ability to sit for up to 8 hours
    • Ability to periodically lift 5 - 20 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

    Travel

    • Little to no travel required
