Recruiting Coordinator

Steadfast Employment is a growing, family-oriented staffing company looking for a motivated and dependable Recruiting Coordinator to join our Houma team.

This position will serve as the main support to our Houma recruiter and is a great opportunity for someone interested in building a career in staffing and recruiting. Our goal is to train and develop the right person so they can eventually grow into a Recruiter role and take on their own clients, job orders, and candidates.

What You’ll Do

The Recruiting Coordinator will help keep the day-to-day recruiting and office process moving, including:

• Assist the recruiter with candidates, job orders, and employee needs
• Greet and assist applicants throughout the application and onboarding process
• Review applications and help identify candidates for open positions
• Conduct initial candidate screening and gather employment information
• Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate start details
• Collect and process employment documentation
• Assist with onboarding, pre-employment requirements, and employee files
• Communicate with candidates and employees by phone, text, and email
• Help maintain accurate candidate and employee information in our system
• Assist with separations and other employment-related paperwork
• Provide general administrative and front-office support
• Learn the recruiting process with the goal of taking on increased recruiting responsibilities over time
