    Description

    MAU is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator in Conyers, GA. As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will recruit, screen, interview, and schedule qualified candidates while partnering with Staffing Specialists to meet client staffing needs and providing administrative support throughout the hiring and orientation process. This is a direct-hire position.

    Required Education and Experience

    Essential Functions

    • Perform human resources functions related to recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees
    • Screen candidates, schedule appointments, and respond to applicant inquiries regarding open positions
    • Interview candidates for transactional and project accounts
    • Recruit qualified candidates using online sourcing platforms, job boards, and other recruiting channels
    • Maintain applicant flow through job advertisements, development of recruiting sources, and analysis of weekly and monthly recruiting source reports
    • Regularly review work orders and collaborate with Staffing Specialists and Staffing Supervisors to achieve staffing goals
    • Schedule candidate interviews, pre-screening assessments, client interviews, and orientations
    • Provide orientation information and required onboarding materials to new employees
    • Coordinate background checks, education verification, and drug-related testing when required
    • Manage recruiting communications and provide accurate information about job vacancies
    • Coordinate orientation and training activities and support strategies that improve recruiting logistics
    • Attend organizational meetings as required
    • Provide administrative support to recruiting and employment functions, including maintaining and processing documentation and records
    • Support receptionist and orientation-processing duties as needed

    Work Environment and Physical Demands

    This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The Recruiting Coordinator should be comfortable and confident interacting with a variety of applicants, including challenging situations.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours
    • Ability to sit for up to 8 hours
    • Ability to periodically lift 5-20 pounds
    • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

    Travel

    Little to no travel is required.
