The Position

Be the person who builds dream teams for residential home service companies nationwide. As a Recruiting Coordinator with Trustal Recruiting, you’ll create win‑win matches between skilled tradespeople and home‑service businesses.

Trustal Recruiting is a niche recruiting firm focused exclusively on residential home services - roofers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC companies, and related trades. We recruit nationwide across every role in home services: field tradespeople (installers, technicians, plumbers, electricians), project managers, helpers, and all office and leadership positions (Customer Service Representatives, Dispatchers, Office Managers, Service Managers, Operations Managers, General Managers).

We serve reputable small chains, franchises, private equity‑backed organizations, and independent owner/operators to deliver strong, mutually beneficial hires. We’re a smaller organization that’s growing quickly; it’s an exciting time to join and help continue to shape our systems, culture, and support expansion.

Compensation & Employment Type

  • Salary: $55,000–60,000 per year (DOE)
  • Full‑time, W‑2, remote
  • Schedule flexibility available with expectation of compensatory hours as needed
  • Benefits implementation planned for 2027 (health, 401(k), and additional offerings)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned residential home‑service client accounts and lead full‑cycle recruitment for roles across field and office functions nationwide
  • Use RecruiterFlow (ATS) to track requisitions, source candidates, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate records
  • Source and actively engage applicants via job boards, social media, referrals, and community/trade channels; conduct video screenings and role‑specific assessments
  • Coordinate and prepare candidates for client interviews; provide regular status updates and responsive candidate/client communication
  • Manage job postings and budget allocations on hiring platforms; refine sourcing strategies to improve quality and cost‑per‑hire
  • Engage in consistent execution and continuous feedback on systems and processes to help fine tune performance and scale operational success
  • Coach clients and internal teammates on interview best practices, role expectations, and candidate evaluation to improve hiring outcomes
  • Participate in a daily 9:00 AM huddle and other scheduled team meetings/trainings
  • Own special projects tied to client success, process improvement, and operational scaling (e.g.: Be the liaison for Trustal with various tech schools in certain markets to create relationships that will help our clients grow their teams with trained technicians.)

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years of experience recruiting within a large home service company, franchise corporate division, private equity portfolio company, or as an Office/H.R./General Manager who led hiring
  • Experience recruiting for a wide range of roles from field technicians and installers to office and leadership positions
  • Demonstrated operational and leadership skills: process design, documentation, teaching/coaching others, and driving repeatable outcomes
  • Strong systems orientation and experience implementing tools, workflows, and accountability measures
  • Business acumen and the ability to communicate credibly with owners, operations leaders, and managers at all levels
  • Ownership mentality with experience owning special projects aligned with business development strategies such as liaison opportunities with tech schools and other tech training organizations
  • Natural gift/ability to enable people to feel comfortable sharing authentically, no matter the level of work experience or the position
  • Highly driven, organized, self‑starter who reliably executes without close oversight (GSD orientation)
  • Rapid learner with initiative to research, troubleshoot, and resolve recruiting challenges independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, client service focus, professional and compassionate demeanor, resourceful and critical thinker
  • Must enjoy and thrive in a fast‑changing, growth‑oriented environment
