Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist — Smithfield, VA
Pay: $21–$23/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Assignment: 3–4 month temporary contract with potential for longer-term opportunity
Location: Smithfield, VA
We are hiring an Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full-cycle recruiting, candidate sourcing, and hiring coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Manage recruiting activities from sourcing through hire.
- Source and screen qualified candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to support staffing needs.
- Provide timely communication and a positive candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate applicant records and recruiting metrics.
- Support recruiting process improvements and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
- Recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ATS systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel to other locations approximately 25% of the time
