The Recruiter / Program Coordinator selected for this opportunity will gain key public sector experience in developing and implementing recruiting strategies for a municipal agency that can effectively position you to pursue and obtain key, sought-after public sector jobs. We are looking for a Recruiter that has 2+ years of experience in human resource management (or similar) to work on-site and full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) in the Los Angeles area.
As a Recruiter / Program Coordinator, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and coordinate university and professional recruitment programs to attract diverse engineering talent.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, faculty, student organizations, and professional associations.
- Plan and support career fairs, conferences, information sessions, and other recruitment events.
- Coordinate candidate screening, interview scheduling, selection activities, and hiring documentation.
- Track recruitment metrics, analyze results, and recommend improvements to recruiting strategies.
- Support interviewer training, compliance requirements, and recruitment process administration.
- Manage outreach materials, job postings, and recruitment communications.
- Coordinate the Project Green Leadership Mentorship Program, including participant engagement, events, and program evaluation.
