We are currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the full-cycle recruiting process for both Morgan Hill and Fairfield, CA locations. The incumbent will be responsible for creatively sourcing candidates and implementing staffing strategies to provide a positive candidate experience while responding to business hiring needs.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role within the Human Resources team and will partner cross-functionally with other departments regarding their hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts.
Contract 4-6 months with potential to convert
Location: Morgan Hill OR Fairfield, CA (Can choose one location to work out of.)
Pay range: $35-40/hour
Responsibilities
Accountable for the day-to-day recruiting efforts, ensuring that requisitions are filled timely and with appropriately matched candidates.
Partner with managers to understand their business and hiring needs in order to create effective recruiting strategies
Lead requisition intake meetings with hiring managers to capture all the necessary information on the job description and requirements for the position
Create new job descriptions and process revision updates on existing job descriptions as needed
Create an overall recruiting strategy for the organization and develop/maintain a talent pipeline using tactical recruiting methods, sourcing techniques, and networking
Collaborate with marketing to create branding materials and strategy
Research and evaluate current market trends in order to prepare and negotiate competitive employment offers; extend finalized offer package to candidates
Conducts candidate screenings to evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education, skills, and knowledge relevant to the position; ensures candidates meet the minimum job requirements per job description
Provide internal and external candidates updates on their candidacy and demonstrate excellent communication between candidates and the company
Host interview debriefs with hiring managers in order to finalize hiring decisions
Provide hiring managers with timely updates of candidate's offer decision and status of pre-employment activities (i.e. company agreements, background check, drug screening)
Partners with HR Generalists to move candidates into onboarding process to complete the hire
Maintain and update applicant tracking system and prepare metrics and status reports as needed
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years related experience sourcing and/or recruiting candidates. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Experience sourcing Manufacturing and Operations roles preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Expert knowledge in staffing strategies including sourcing, recruitment, interviewing and general hiring practices
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with managers and candidates
Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize work
Requires experience with sourcing through social networking tools and using creative sourcing methodologies
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and become a trusted partner to hiring managers and candidates
