DESCRIPTION OF EMPLOYER: Founded in 1901, Feeser’s, Inc. is a family owned and operated full-line foodservice distributor located in Harrisburg, PA servicing the Mid-Atlantic region. Feeser’s provides an expansive offering of dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to a diverse customer base comprised of restaurants, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, and other institutions.
SUMMARY: The Recruiter will be mainly responsible recruiting, selection process and hiring staff for warehouse and driving positions. Candidate will be sourcing candidates, conducting screening calls, phone interviews, onsite interviews and completely hiring process. Must be able to work with all levels of management and make sound hiring recommendations. This is a high-volume recruiting position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment
Sourcing job candidates for openings
Conducting screening calls
Assessing candidate's skillset and qualifications
Make recommendation to hiring team for interview selection
Schedule onsite or phone interviews for supervisors and managers.
Work with team to present offers to the selected candidates.
Coordinating drug testing and physicals
Conduct orientation and preparation
Help conduct facility tours
Following up with new employees
Communicate with hiring team all updates and pipeline of candidates
Enter all candidates updates in JazzHR daily.
Help in organizing company events and corporate activities
SKILLS REQUIRED and QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have 2+ years in professional recruiting
Must have 1+ years in recruiting warehouse professionals
Prefer a degree in Human Resources
Ability to work well as a team and independently
Critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to always maintain confidential and sensitive information
Ability to work in office
