Description

Summary:

  • Duration: 3 month contract
  • Work Mode: 100% onsite, Monday - Friday
  • Location: Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure company roles are staffed for operational readiness
  • Partner with multiple hiring managers to understand their staffing needs
  • Travel to domestic locations to attend hiring events multiple times a month, sometimes on weekends
  • Conduct thorough intake sessions, clarifying staffing needs and responsibilities, and ensuring job descriptions reflect accurate knowledge, skills, and abilities required
  • Proactively source talent, using various techniques, such as job boards, social media, and networking resources
  • Act as a resource to hiring managers on conducting behavioral interviewing, and facilitate selection process and discussion, ensuring effective, legal interviewing practices
  • Manage positive internal and external applicant experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Influence overall hiring process to achieve timeliness and agreements
  • Respond to talent acquisition needs and inquiries from business leaders, hiring managers, TA leadership, etc.
  • Provide hiring manager accurate and timely updates on applicant activity, track talent acquisition metrics, and report trends and issues to TA leadership, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain up-to-date applicant records in the applicant tracking system for accurate reporting and analysis
  • Maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with business, hiring managers, and other talent acquisition functions
  • Collaborate closely with third-party vendors involved in hiring to provide guidance and/or clarification on union contracts, validation of pay scales, follow-up on requisition statuses, and process approvals
  • Conduct recurrent business calls with leaders to discuss high-volume hiring, including strategy and updates
  • Maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with Legal, Labor team, and other stakeholders in the recruiting process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in a recruiting function
  • Experience with recruiting metrics, SLA, and KPIs
  • Experience sourcing for niche roles using LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience with SuccessFactors or other large enterprise ATS system (Taleo, iCIMS, etc.)
  • Airline experience

Preferred Skills:

  • High-volume recruiting experience, especially in a unionized environment
  • Experience conducting competency-based interviews
  • Reporting experience relative to Talent Acquisition performance and metrics
  • Experience collaborating with RPO partner(s)
  • Experience organizing and conducting hiring events
  • Excellent relationship management skills, ability to establish credibility, and partner with leaders to identify talent gaps, needs, risk, and plans for actions
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong customer orientation and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of employment law, corporate recruitment practices
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to think strategically; creative and innovative thinking skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Knowledge of workforce planning (forecast, identify specific needs, skills, locations, and behaviors) is a plus
