Contract Recruiter (Manufacturing / Light Industrial)

Contract with potential for conversion/full time hire

LHH is seeking experienced recruiters to support our client in the manufacturing industry. This position will be sourcing and recruiting for hourly or salaried professionals, in a fast paced environment.

Overview: Support hourly manufacturing hiring or salaried hiring:

• Hourly: 20-30 requisitions including Machine Operators, Utility Associates, Maintenance Technicians, Skilled Trades Professionals, 2nd and 3rd Shift Manufacturing Roles
• Salaried: 15-20 requisitions including Warehouse & Distribution Managers, Quality Managers, Production Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisors, HR Professionals, Customer Service Leadership and Professional Roles

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment from sourcing through offer acceptance
• Source, screen, interview, and qualify candidates
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines
• Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders
• Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
• Recruit across multiple locations and business functions
• Support both active and proactive recruiting initiatives
• Maintain recruiting activity within ATS systems
• Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
• Adapt quickly to changing business priorities and hiring demands

Qualifications

• Recruiting experience in a high-volume environment
• Manufacturing recruiting experience
• Experience recruiting hourly operations, production, or skilled manufacturing talent
• Agency recruiting experience strongly preferred
• Strong sourcing and candidate generation skills
• Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously
• ATS experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability

Schedule & Work Environment

• Hybrid work environment
• Chicago office located conveniently in the Loop
• Onsite 2-3 days per week
• Flexible schedule (start between 7-9AM)

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
