PAY: $17/HR
SUMMARY
Under general supervision of the Assistant Director of Human Resources, this position is responsible for supporting the recruitment efforts within the organization. This position will assist in attracting, sourcing, and evaluating qualified candidates for various positions within municipal departments. This position will be responsible for the onboarding of all newly hired employees. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an interest in Human Resources, and a passion for helping build a talented, diverse workforce that supports the community.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred. Previous experience in recruiting, administrative, or customer service role is preferred. Must have reliable transportation to attend job fairs at remote locations.

The employee works in a dynamic environment that requires being sensitive to change and responsive to changing goals, priorities, and needs. Schedule will be Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
