Job Summary
Loudoun Countys Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Recreation Programs Manager position. Under the general direction of the Recreation Center Manager, provides oversight for Ashburn Recreation & Community Center programming to include camps, clinics, licensed preschool/childcare, special events, and fitness; interviews and hires staff for the facility; oversees licensed and non-licensed programs; and oversees maintenance of facilities.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree; three (3) years of related work experience in recreation programs; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
Must undergo pre-employment fingerprinting, credit, Child Protective Services (CPS), and DMV background checks. A valid drivers license and a good driving record are required. Annual reviews of driving records may be conducted to ensure ongoing qualification. Pass TB test within 30 days of hire and each year thereafter. Annually, it is required to file a sworn disclosure statement or affirmation that details any criminal convictions or pending criminal charges. First Aid/CPR and OSHA (Bloodborne pathogens) certifications within 90 days of hire.
